2012-2013 Update

Welcome back to a new and exciting year!  The elementary PE department has been hard at work getting your children the exercise they need while at school.  There are some exciting updates we would like to share with you.  First, let's welcome Mrs. Laroe to the district.  Mrs. Laroe will join Mr. Helmann at Greenbrier.  It's great to have you here Mrs. Laroe!
Right now, Greenbrier has done the mile run and will continue with fitness testing, Halloween games,  and floor hockey.  Greenbrier has put up some great times in the mile. Go get 'em Gators!

Dryden just finished their bowling unit and are now taking advantage of using the climbing wall and doing fitness stations.  Do it Dolphins!

Windsor is getting the bowling unit from Dryden so they will be hitting the lanes.  Knock 'em down Wildcats!!

Westgate took advantage of the great Fall running-weather and finished up their running (50, 100, and mile run).  They are now starting their floor hockey unit and will get the Heart Course from Ivy Hill.  Wow Wolverines!

Ivy Hill is finishing up the Heart Course and will be sending it off to Westgate.  They just recently finished up the mile run.  Prior to that,  they did lead-up games for Ultimate Football!  Excellent Eagles!

Patton is also working on getting mile run times and will begin fitness stations.  Way to take advantage of the great fall weather Patton.  Pound 'em Panthers!

Olive too is out getting their mile run in and will continue with some Halloween- themed games.  Gymnastics will soon start which is always a fan favorite!  Outstanding Owls!!!

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to email the PE teacher at your school.  See the link to your school at the top of this page.  Have a great year everyone!!!!
